What You’ll Learn |
Class 1: Introduction to PS101 (5:24)
We exist to glorify God and make mature disciples of Jesus Christ who — by the power of the Holy Spirit — connect with the God of Creation, connect with the Body of Christ, and connect with our community, state, nation, and the world to share the saving message of the Gospel. Join us as we connect together for the good of all people and the glory of God.
Class 2: Connecting Upward (10:12)
Our desire is for you to join us as we connect upward with the God of Creation. We depend upon the teachings of his son, Jesus Christ, for salvation and for every-day life. We seek to become followers of Jesus, to be empowered by the Holy Spirit, and to be obedient children of the God who created us.
Class 3: Connecting Inward (9:10)
We aim to connect inward with the Body of Christ, His Church. We believe that Jesus came into the world to establish the New Testament Church to spread his message. This direction of Christ can only be done when our church is healthy and growing, so we pray you will join us as we grow into healthy church members together.
Class 4: Connecting Outward (9:54)
We aim to connect outward and move into the world. We desire to reach our community, our state, our nation, and the world with the saving message of the Gospel. We believe we are commanded to go into the world and make disciples, and it is our desire for you to join us in this mission at Poplar Springs Baptist Church.
Class 5: Meet the Staff (7:37)
We would love for you to join us at Poplar Springs Baptist Church as a church member. In this class, we want to introduce you to our staff and give them an opportunity to connect with you.

Welcome to PS101! I’m Joey Burnett, PS101 Leader, and I praise the Lord you are considering membership at Poplar Springs Baptist Church. We place a premium on church membership because it’s biblical and our foundation is built on the Word of God.
